Lapin Skate Shop, support your local carrot !

A friend of mine is trying to open a skate shop in england and he ask me to do some draws for the shop!

I'm not a designer, one thing is to do some draws in your sketch another is to give an image to a shop or a brand and being creative!

I want some opinios to make a better draw for them !

Laziness !

I'm lazy like a pig and pig like a lazy !

Those couple of days i'm feeling with a low desire of expressing myself !

Education !

If i have one thing in my life how always educated me was punk, not pop punk or pretty collored hair with super clothes and vans in your feets, but real punk like those fucker ,I.A.C. ( Incoformidade anti-costitucional ) one of the best portugues punk bands of all time, and i had the joy to see them four times!

This song is called Punks de Merda ( shitty punks ) and for todays world i think is very apropriate, just need to change the word punk to people!

Inspiration !

I have a super familly, super friends, skate, music and the world who always insipred me to let all my creativity go out of me!

But this five fuckers ( Princesa, Ducati, Tinha, Tchó, Ollie and Olga) are my main source of inspiration!

And i'm thankful to wake up near to them every day of my life!

I'm so glad !

I'm so FUCKING glad today !

In a artistic way, this was the most inspired day in all my life !

We espected 20 people to appear and we had about 60 people in the room for one hour to see our exposition !

Thank you to all the people who helped us and appear to see our works !

The best part, it was to have Olga to share this exposition on my side !

The exposition will be mounted untill 10 May 2013 !

Fresh Ink !

Tomorrow we will open the exposition on the File District of Bragança !

In the morning we will try to assemlbe all the things to open it at 15:30 !

I hope it will be a good first exposition for me and Olga !

Slide film !

The old man from the photostore that i use to reveal my films gave me some slide films that expired in 2002 and he dont have the chemical to reveal them normaly so he reveal them with the regular one and they become all greeny!

But if i transform them in B/W the get like those one! and i reall like them!

I'm always wondering myself if the "worst" and "cheapest" materials are the best to make true and pure art!

I know that its maybe stupid but we have so much shit those days and people give them so much attention, like big giant camera machine, best pencils and inks and all those shit's!

(I'm not complaining about my materials, i really think that i'm lucky with them !)

But sometimes the basic is the best !

Tomorrow i will show some more photos, today we start to set up our exposition and hope to finish all the works untill friday!

Scraps !

Olga was finishing a canvas so i caught the scraps of the acrylic and make a quick sketch of a fruiter!

I finish the 8th illustration today i want to make at least 2 mores !

Today i decide to digitalize some old film that i have at home, i dont know why i did it because it cost me much more that i expected !

Well, now i already have all my photos in my pc!

Its was hard do get to Gouveia but i already handed the paint !
